UDP800 MKII is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT8581 processor, 2GB DDR memory, and high-speed NAND flash for stable operation. It adopts a 4-layer PCB design, with high-precision crystal oscillators, Murata MLCC capacitors, and Nichicon electrolytic capacitors. High-quality copper-core wiring is used throughout the device. The internal connectors have been upgraded to JST and Amphenol, enhancing stability and connection reliability.
Stunning Audio-Visual Quality
UDP800 MKII supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+, presenting breathtakingly vivid and realistic UHD movies. Regarding audio, it supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. With a dedicated HDMI audio output to achieve audio and video separation. For pure audio playback, UDP800 MKII specifically adopts a 4-layer PCB with independent channel wiring, equipped with two Burr-Brown PCMI1795 DACs and Seven OPA1602’s, creating audiophile-grade sound. The added TMDS retiming function on the HDMI AUDIO port effectively compensates for jitter, provides better signal quality and load-carrying capacity, and further improves the HDMI audio quality, making the sound details richer.
Solid and Stable Build
Featuring a high-rigidity metal body and double-layer chassis, the UDP800 MKII has its internal components shielded by metal casings. This effectively reduces interference from vibration, noise and external magnetic fields, delivering pure and high-resolution audio-visual performance.
Versatile Compatibility
UDP800 MKII is fully compatible with a wide range of disc formats, including 4K UHD Blu-ray, Blu-ray / Blu-ray 3D, BD-R / BD-RE, DVD-Video / DVD-Audio, DVD±R / DVD±RW, AVCHD, SACD, CD / CD-R / CD-RW. Its optimized USB 3.0 port, which has an added HUB chip and a redesigned power supply, better adapts to various devices, supporting up to 16TB hard drive. UDP800 MKII can also share media files in various formats via DLNA, SMB and NFS.
Reliable Power Source
UDP800 MKII is equipped with a custom 60W high-power low-noise transformer with a two-stage filter and Japanese Rubycomn electrolytic capacitors. A separate metal case dampens noise providing stability and quietness, further enhancing its overall performance.
